Another warm day at Anslow
The third One-Day Event run by Midlands Carriagedriving at Anslow on 12 th July continued this summer’s series of heatwaves with another warm day. However, the heat was turned up in the highly competitive Gateway Newcomers class which was won by Joanne Pitts. Despite a rather hefty penalty score in dressage, Joanne picked up the pace in the obstacles to overtake Liz Whitehead and win by 1.13 penalties with dressage leader Vicky Nurcombe in third, 1.03 penalties behind Liz.
